Padiglione da giardino, by Andrea Marioni © Museo Hermann Hesse Montagnola
Radio-happening
Saturday and Sunday 12 & 13 July 2025, 17.30 –19.30 · Museo Hermann Hesse Montagnola
In the Padiglione da giardino – an installation by Andrea Marioni in the museum courtyard – contemporary artists from various Swiss cantons and linguistic regions will present their texts, reading them live on site and broadcasting them simultaneously on Lumpenstation.art. Continuing the reflection on the themes of compost and the garden explored in the temporary exhibition In Hesse’s Gardens: Between Compost, Art, and Awareness, the radio happening investigates humus as a living metaphor: a space of decomposition, but also of regeneration. Within this framework, a dialogue unfolds between Hesse’s cultural legacy, contemporary artistic practices, and the surrounding landscape. A radio experience and convivial gathering not to be missed.
Humus Vivendi is a project conceived by Lumpen Station and is part of the program of events accompanying the temporary exhibition In Hesse's Gardens: on Compost, Art, and Awareness.
